The Texas Toast is a country and rock band from Houston, TX, that was formed in 2005. Long time friends and musical co-conspirators Eric Korb and Steve VanHorn were playing as the house band at a local ice house when Sheila Garcia sat in and sang a few songs with them. A light bulb immediately turned on and the three of them decided they should make something more formal out it. Jeff Lovejoy, another regular collaborator, was quickly brought in to round out the guitars and harmonies. Jacob Millwee was added on bass and The Texas Toast was born.
Much like Texas weather, you never really know what you'll get when the Toast takes the stage.
