Steve VanHorn
Drums

Steve VanHorn grew up in Katy, Texas. He began playing drums when he was 11. When Steve was 16, he met Eric Korb and they started their first band in Eric's garage. In college he recorded two albums and played regularly in Austin, College Station, Huntsville, and Houston with the reggae/ska band X's For Eyes. After college he was a founding member of the Houston ska band The Suspects along with fellow X's For Eyes member Bill Grady. Steve left The Suspects before they played their first gig and bounced around various Houston bands looking for something that felt like home. He finally found it when he hooked back up with Eric Korb to start The Texas Toast.
